What is a Credit Union?
A credit union is a financial co-operative that is owned and operated by the members who open an account with a minimum balance required in the by-laws of the institution. Each owner is able to vote for the Board of Directors at the annual meeting and they can also hold voluntary positions at the credit union on the Board of Directors and Supervisory Committee.
